Morning All,
Off to Epynt tommorow ,love the place.
Here are a few from Wyedean and Sunseeker.
Traditionally Wyedean is a struggler for me ,and Sunseeker I like, but didnt get to enough stages this year.
Event winner Andy Burton ,amazing car and driver.

A bit of a frame filler for me.

Good set there, 1 stands out but may benefit from cropping out the guy on the right?

I really must try to do a rally sometime.

love that shot of the 6r4. what an epic car, good to see that they are still doing the rounds in the computervision livery!
the ascona looks like its pushing as well.
good shots mate!

I like the atmosphere in the first shot, backlighting on the spectator and the dirt kicked-up by the 306 look great.

Some decent stuff here mate, like the 6r4 shot most.

The crop on #1 looks a bit awkward, I think the car and the bloke are a bit too close to the edges of the frame.

Surprised not to see the Fabia over the bridge from the Sunseeker.

Rhod

I really like these, some really nice bits of action caught. #4 is really cool, nice DOF.

The watermark in the 2nd and 3rd image does cheapen them, and isn't really protecting the images either.

Good exposures in what seems to be quite challenging light.Always good to see an Escort coming straight towards you at full chat:)
I also agree the first shot looks a little unbalenced although content ( car and spectator) and light is interesting. Not enough at each side and too much in the middle.

I'd like to think there's some artistic license behind the first shot and in that respect,it works for me
6R4 also gets my imaginary vote
One question,do many people take their domesticated pets to rallies these days
Obviously there's no control over the local wildlife

Nice set. Love the Opel and the Mini. The low angle is superb. The 6R4 is also a great image. What a machine.

no's 1 & 4 for me. Like the lighting in no.1 and I think the chap stood on the right taking the photo adds to the picture for me. No.4, nice colours and a 6R4 sideways - can't say much more! Great stuff

Thanks Paul,
Ironically I love the shot because of my chavvy freind on the right with his camera phone, hat and shades, spekkies are often one of my trademarks.
Matty2 love that shot of the 6r4. what an epic car, good to see that they are still doing the rounds in the computervision livery!

Cheers Matty,
Amazing car,and always well driven ,sideways everywhere.

born-shooter Great shots 6r4 one would look nice on my wall
And mine,thanks.(y)

Paz I like the atmosphere in the first shot, backlighting on the spectator and the dirt kicked-up by the 306 look great.

So did I ,an amazing car and driver, sadly in its last year in the forests(It's homebuilt!)

Cheers Rhod,
Think I agree with you on crop,my BR comp one is a bit looser, but probably not enough.
The 6R4 is a stunning car ,and a treat to see and hear.

Thanks for the comments ,much appreciated,Nick.

Yes,light was very challenging at times on both events, but at least it was bright most of the time,so I shouldnt moan, many thanks for the input.

Definate artistic licence, and thats why I kept him in .
That women and her dog were amazing, definite local ,and she didnt give a toss.
Gazh Nice set. Love the Opel and the Mini. The low angle is superb. The 6R4 is also a great image. What a machine.
All the Historics are amazing and the biggest draw usually, except for Andy Burton and some of the modern stuff.

Thanks James,
Glad you like 1,is my entry for British Rally Comp this month, and the 6R4 is awesome.

Fantastic set of shots in some beautiful light. #1 absolutely works for me, not exactly 'standard' framing but I like the composition with the car at full chat and the very laid back togger.

For similar reasons I really like #5 as well, lady walking the dog, turning back to shoot a 6R4 sideways, it could only be rallying!

If that was the Sunseeker, the 6R4 has now been retired.

Wow ,thanks for that info,Andrew, and as is last event, another suitable pic of sais beast.

Thanks for the compliment and I do think the people add to the shot immensely and are very much part of it .

As mentioned by Rhodri,a shot that was not posted , a gorgeous Skoda at full chat.

You have caught the action well, I will look forward to seeing your images from the Epynt, as all the cars seemed to around the town yesterday (Yes I live in Brecon). I have never been to any of the rally's around here, maybe I should try it whenever another one heads this way.

Luv it Mr P, the 6R4 with lady and camera is the shot for me, great human interaction
(the rest are good also) :)
Cheers Allan,
She came walking down ,which probably does every day, almost oblivious to the cars, the dog being on one of those long leads, and at the last moment stepped off the stage turning casually with her camera phone to tog the action.

really liking that last shot chris, 6r4 shot is a cracker 2.. top notch stuff
Cheers Dan,looks like the old Metro was a real crowd favourite.
Considering he was retiring it ,he drove the wheels off it!

Love the two 6R4 shots mate
More votes for the Metro, thanks Pete.

Thanks Barry, and definitely head up on the ranges ,it's a great day out.

Not so keen on the Burton shot personally, as Rhod says it feels awkward with car one side of the frame and speccy the other, would personally crop the bloke out as he doesn't really add much to it, and crop into the car to show the flying mud a bit more.

Love the Collins shot, panning is spot on and the steam/smoke adds that bit extra.

Also another vote for the sideways 6R4 shot too, an unusual pose for a legendary car (y)

Like the shot of Greer over that jump, but Milner was higher last year! ;)

Great light and fantastic sharpness on the yellow Escort, just a shame he's not airborne.

Look forward to seeing what you've got from Epynt today! (y)

1st Shot is stunning. Shame about the chap on the right though.

Thank you for taking the time to comment,Sir James,Always appreciated ,re crit.
Seems like the Bertie shot is getting mixed reviews re speccy and cropping, however,I love our chum in shot,he was very dapper in a chavtastical kind of way in his hat, shades ,and why the Dean is a very special Event.
I never realised that was the place Milner was airborn last year.
Ironically I did have that Escort Airborn,he is here, but size of pic does not really show it.

DeclanL 1st Shot is stunning. Shame about the chap on the right though.
Thanks Declan,I liked it because of stunning car, strong lighting on right and chap on right.

Nice set Chris, colours are pin sharp, focus great, the middle Escort shot could do to be a little "looser" imho !! ;)
