#1 I just really like the simplicity of it.
Last... nice composition & dof.

With the other pics, I find the quality is there, its just the background dominates the subject a little too much, jmo.

That 1st one is really nice & the last is excellent - backgrounds in the others are a bit too much for me too though IMO.

Thanks for all the comments. I think my favorites are probably the first and last too. I am really glad we got a telephoto lens as I probably use that way more than the kit lens. I am really starting to take an interest in nature photography. So much more interesting than people.

I'm adding a vote for 1, 4 & 5. Nowt wrong with the others, it's (as already said) the backgrounds that make the difference.
