Thank you The first two are actually pseudo macro, having been taken with the Tamron 150-600mm and cropped heavily.

I've just noticed that when I upload to flickr it does some weird jpeg rendering and makes some of pics look strange. Take 8 for example (DSC_9587) it looks really noisy and has jpeg artefacts which my original doesn't, any ideas how to prevent this when uploading to flickr?
