A few more butterflies....

After taking some photo's of my daughter I spotted loads of butterflies on sunday in the garden so before I knew what was going on had spent an entire card on them!

I am not confident enough to put names to the butterflies so if anyone can help out that would be a bonus.

Taken handheld on D700, 105mm Nikkor Micro with 2* Teleconverter (Auto ISO on).

4. This was an interesting looking little fella, but it looks like he had been in a scrap since one of his wings was missing a considerable chunk.

Hi, I think you have there 2x painted lady, a large white, and a comma. I really like the pic of the white.

I need to brush up on my Butterflies since I originally thought it might be a red admiral!

I really like the way the colours came out in 2 and 3.
