Lovely captures Cobra (y) thanks for sharing. I for one have never heard of any of them let alone seen any at a Zoo. I love that Tamarin though. Where were these taken?

Great set, nice to see some different animals the Fossa is my fav not seen one of those before:)

Thanks Chris, Marwell looks really cool and not that far from me. I would like to pay it a visit sometime in the new year.
No problem Rich
its well worth the trip,
reasonably tog friendly and quite a lot to see (y)

These were shot through glass but I think that they also had an out-side bit
as well IIRC. but not a walk through.

Thanks for posting. We will be heading to Marwell thanks to your lovely pictures.
Always wanted to see a Fussa

That's a shame, my last visit they where in a walk-through, so made for some good ops.

Apart from the coatimundi and the tamarin, I didn't know that any of those even existed.

The Doracoulis is my favourite . . . those eyes !!!!!!!
I'm guessing that they're nocturnal?
A beautiful shot of a really bizarre looking animal (y)

Thanks Sarah (y)
Yep they are the only true nocturnal monkey, also called
The night monkey, AKA owl monkeys

Seems I may have mis spelt them also :(
they are "Douroucoulis"

Those are great, LOVE the Fossa would like to see one of those.

Hey Chris nice set Buddy, you should have pm'ed me and I would have popped over to Marwell if I had of known you were down in my neck of the wood. ;) This place has got too big to keep track of things these days.

It was actually a last minute decision to go there
had it been planned I would have Pm'ed you for sure.
Oh well maybe next time :)

Your favourite is also my favourite - and thank god Marwell abandoned the tamarin walk-through and put some glass on the front of their new enclosure!

The log in the Fossa shot is a bit annoying but I really like the composition with the tail leading off the the corner - works well.

Nice to see a shot of a sandcat awake as well (y)

Thanks for dropping by Fi its appreciated (y)
And I do agree about the log,
But it wouldn't move away from it :(
And as it was so close to its toes,
I couldn't be arsed to clone it out :D
