A few not so common zoo mammals

First up is the Fossa

Then a Binturong

Closely followed by an Egyptian-sand-cat

lets not forget the Coatimundi

Or indeed the Douroucoulis (Weird or what!)

I saved my favourite to last the Golden Lion Tamarin

Lovely captures Cobra thanks for sharing. I for one have never heard of any of them let alone seen any at a Zoo. I love that Tamarin though. Where were these taken?

These were shot through glass but I think that they also had an out-side bit
as well IIRC. but not a walk through.

That's a shame, my last visit they where in a walk-through, so made for some good ops.

Yep they are the only true nocturnal monkey, also called
The night monkey, AKA owl monkeys

Seems I may have mis spelt them also

It was actually a last minute decision to go there

Your favourite is also my favourite - and thank god Marwell abandoned the tamarin walk-through and put some glass on the front of their new enclosure!

The log in the Fossa shot is a bit annoying but I really like the composition with the tail leading off the the corner - works well.

Nice to see a shot of a sandcat awake as well
