First time at an airshow with a prime lens, canon 300mm f/2.8 IS I had the monopod with me but didn't use it went hand held all day which I didn't think was possible but it was. suffering a little today from it but I like the photos I got from the day, I rarely print anything out but I think I have a few I may just print.

Great shots !
I was there yesterday, didn't capture anything as well timed as those though.
 
Re the 'cloud' on the Tornado's wings - low pressure on the upper surface of the wing cuases moisture in the air to condensate. You also have the sunlight shining through it causing the rainbow effect.

Great shots by the way! :)
 
4 and 8 for me great shots although 4 could do with a bit of a crop imo. I'm still gutted i never made it to RIAT last week
 
Some great shots,love No.4. Didnt realise the show was this weekend or I would have gone. Kicking myself for missing it!
