I took a tonne of photos whilst at sea on a small boat, this is just a few of them. The rest can be seen in my Flickr account (see sig).
I was so frustrated on the evening as Id been told we were stopping by an island were I could get out and take lots of pics, unfortunately we stopped at a mangrove island with no beach or earth to stand on, just mangroves rising out of the sea. We slept on the boat. I wouldve died to take a few long exposures, but it wasnt to be.

We were near Flores, Rinca and Komodo.

(y):clap::clap::clap: Great photos ... #3 is breath taking , any PP at all ? Thanks for sharing

Thank you both.
Very little P&P on most of them (most meaning the whole set on FlickR), mainly increased vibrance and saturation, some had the levels tweaked and thats all. (apart from the few that needed straightening because I was on a boat rocking all over ther place;))

The reflections in the water on No. 5 are mesmerizing!
These are all beautiful captures :)

really nice shots. komodo is a great place. were you diving out there?

Stew

They are all superb but the interesting thing is the last one, i think it's my favorite and you took it with the 18-55 kit lens!!!!!! Amazing quality, i didn't think these lenses were capable of this much quality!! I was going to sell mine but i don't think i will now!

Great work!

The light on the water in number 5 looks fantastic, looks like a serene evening! Long exposure shots would of be even better, but these hold their own.

Well taken sir.

Thanks.
Yep, long exposures wouldve been good, but I had to make to with taking themk on a rocking boat.:)

Great Captures Love No. 5 and No.6 Very well done
