A few shots from London with the Nifty!

A few of the less-bad ones from my time with the Nifty Fifty in and around London (except the No.6 which was with 135mm F2.8). As you can probably see, I'm a complete beginner so all comments - however harsh - very gratefully received!

I'm not too sure about No.5 in particular.

No 4 is very good.

2 and 3 would benifit from a crop i think...

5 has terrible flare.

Not bad attempts , 4 is spot on though!!

Sharp and sweet-No2 I'd consider cropping back to the edge of the wall, No3 I'd clone the object top left.

Otherwise pretty good.

Number four stands out to me too, like that one ... you need to work on your accurate framing, many of those could have been improved with more space around your photo ideas or moving the position you shoot from to clean up the composition and background.

Flare on No.5 was kind of deliverate, but it's just a pants shot

Will have a play with them crop wise!

Thanks for the comments on framing, will try to think about that more!

NB These were all shot on film so I obviously couldn't see the results as I went along. This is helping me learn about the composition aspects I think as I can't just shoot 10 versions and keep the best of each!

Being different than the others , they don't really do anything for me apart from number 4 because it really shows the scale of the eye!
