Sometimes you just don't have time to attempt a better shot. I walked into one of the rooms that overlooks the back garden and spotted this one wandering down the steps. He/she wasn't bothered by me, had a sniff around the back door and headed off. Pity about the distortion caused by the double glazing.

Any comments welcomed.

For a grabbed shot I think it's great, just look at them claws!......never seen one in the UK, so very envious.

Wish my grab shots were like that...................and my double glazing that clean, I'll get the wife onto it right away:D

Nice for a grab shot- you obviously live North of the Border then :D

Les ;)

Any comments would only be positive (y)

Thanks for the comments. This is in Gairloch where fortunately pine martens are not that uncommon; they are in the garden most nights. Yes, the claws are impressive -

My favorite of the mustelids, lovely little creatures and you are so lucky, only ever seen them in captivity a lovely capture :)

Great grab shot! Well done :)
