Always a joy to see the garden birds.......even if only through the letterbox
On a more important note! Not a great idea to feed them bread......it is not that nutritious for them especially at the time year when they need to be feeding well and indeed feeding any young.

I hadn't heard this before, though we do rarely put bread out for the birds.
Usually we have plenty of mealworms/seeds/peanuts etc for them however are getting low at the moment due to not being able to go out and get them from our usual places.
