Hello folks,

Asking for your thoughts again please, I'm going to Goodwood Festival of Speed this year and want to get some decent shots, so thinking of hiring a lens - as the 70-300mm I have is cheap and not the best, but I rarely use this type of lens.

I run a Canon 350D, not the best, might be getting a 40D - but maybe not before Goodwood. What would be a good lens for motorsport shots, cars driving up the hill, I'm thinking I will need something around 100-200mm, with good AF.

I have a 17-70mm Sigma which will be my close up/still cars lens.

It all rather depends on where you stand and quite what results you are looking for...

If you search on here there are several "what lens for FOS" threads already...

Ok thanks will search.

Thinking Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 EX DG HSM might do it, cheap to hire and should be good.
