This photo was taken last year at the Fairford Airshow inbetween the aircraft taking off, photographers to the left pixel peeping no doubt! while the guy to the right is full of thought. Image toned down in Lightroom
I like it especially the tones, I would have liked a slightly deeper dof just to add a bit more shape to the planes in the back ground so you could see why they were all there without having ad.
Yes I do see your point Alex, but to be honest it was very much a point and shoot situation, had I thought a little more about it I would have probably done what you have suggested.
Nice shot & toning, have to agree with alex about the DOF but understand there was nothing you could do about it.
The guy to the far right makes the shot imo, a closer crop of just him would look ace too
