I haven't been on here in a long while, been mega busy with work and...well different things.
I just wanted to create a thread to say thank you to the members/users/moderators/administrators of TP. Over the past year or so you have given much critique, some constructive, some not so...:razz:
I would like to think I have taken this onboard and worked on it....I certainly feel that after what has come about over the last couple of weeks/months has proved this.
[chuffed to bits/brag mode]
1. A couple of weeks ago I was approached by Future Publishing (Google them) to cover a possible 6 motorsport events. This was my first ever paid commission! whoop whoop! I covered the classic ford show @ Santa pod a month back and it was a massive learning curve!! Amateur togs always dream of donning that media vest but when you have to deliver according to a brief you suddenly start to feel the pressure. Hopefully they will contact me re further events, who knows!
2. My local circuit, Castle Combe have taken an interest in my photography and would like me to get much more involved with the circuit. Whilst I won't be on a day rate like the commission above I do get to don the media vest again but with less pressure...happy days. More will be revealed when I have spoken to my contacts this weekend. RS Owners Day...:cheeky plug::bonk:

its with the help of this lovely forum I am starting to see paid work this year.
