Well I wasn't expecting that! Fox looks in good shape so i suspect it's a hunting ploy that normally pays off.

I'm sure it does!
Fortunately the nesting Cranes are in an area surrounded by a 'moat' this year ... hopefully that will aid in protecting any chicks from his clutches :)

Quite chuffed to see that the pictures have been published in The Telegraph, The Times and almost a full page in The Daily Mirror today!
