Morning All,

I have just recieved my bonus (no I'm not a banker) and so I have decided that I am fed up with constantly swapping lenses from landscape to wildlife and back again so I want another camera.
At the moment I have £550 to £600 and I think my options are these...

Keep the D90 and buy another one
Keep the D90 and wait a couple of months and get a s/h D300
Keep the D90 and wait 6 months and get a D300s
Keep the D90 get a s/h D80 and spend the rest on lenses
Sell the D90 and get s/h D80 and D300

Help  I don't know what my best option is. I do hanker after a D300 though.

Cheers

D300 mate.Up the ladder you go....;)

So many permutations, but I'd probably opt for 'B' in your list...

In my opinion:
  1. KEEP the D90!
  2. go for another one or a D300 as circumstances, availability and finances dictate.

Thanks folks, I think the decision has been made. Keep the d90 and wait for the d300.
Only thing I need now is patience.......

Cheers

Another option. Keep what you've got and save the bonus until you know what you want to do with it.

A very good point indeed. But I think I already did know I just wanted some confirmation that it was the right thing to do.
