A question to D700 users

Hi guys,

I have set the multi selector centre button on play back to zoom to high magnification so I can check the focus.

However I have found that images never look sharp when zoomed in on the camera screen even though the image is then fine when I download it to my Mac.

Is this normal?

Hope you had a nice break away with the family and the new camera got a work out....

I use the same method as you but I do not zoom into the maximum I found it to be off putting and making me worry about the shots when they were fine in the mac and in lightroom. Try backing off the magnification you should find that will help a little.

I think they zoom past 100% which seems pointless to me.
You can usually see the point where the image starts to go blocky, looks like about 300% in photoshop.
