A quick hello

I've actually made a few posts here (mainly indulging my love of music!), but thought I should say a quick hi to everyone. Seems a fun forum, and hope I can learn from you all.

I've been interested in photography for a while - well, strictly speaking I've loved nature, people and the great outdoors, and photography allows me to enjoy those more. This year I decided to make a concerted effort to make my photos less "snapshotty", and closer to the experience I have when actually enjoying what inspired me to take the picture in the first place. We'll see how successful that is...!

So hi to all, and hope I can learn and contribute.
