A selection of helicopters

A few helicopters from the year to date. Fairly recent convert to shooting in RAW so any feedback on the edits would be appreciated.

1) Lynx AH7 on a test flight in January.

2) Gazelle Squadron depart Shuttleworth's Fly Navy Airshow in formation.

3) Ex-South African Navy Wasp departing the same show.

4) Star of the Fly Navy show was Historic Helicopters' Wessex HU5.

5) Another Wasp at rest before the flying display.

6) Historic Helicopters' Commando Sea King.

7) And from last weekend at Duxford, the Mil Mi-171 Hip from the Czech Air Force.

8) Which was joined by this Mil Mi-35 Hind in a special livery.

I think they're pretty much perfect Dan. Outstanding really. Well captured and processed I assume cropping the blades was your choice to get the body larger in the frame?

They're all vintage.

Not sure I am sold on the chopped off blades, but I do like the tighter feeling of the images.

Thanks for all the feedback. Yes, cropping the blades is intentional - the fuselage is where all the character of the machine is IMO so that's what I try to frame in the viewfinder.

These are pretty much all 'vintage', in that they're owned and operated by civilians. The only exceptions are the two Czech helicopters.
