Hi.

Sorry but you have got to much wood/railings in the picture. You may/would have been better off, getting down on your knees. And takeing the shot from between, the rails.

I was trying to frame the lamb and show it in its environment, so that was the idea really.

Anyway kneeling or standing up had the railings covering the lamb so I had to squat

Personally I love it (but then I adore all lambs). You have nailed the exposure and also the focus on the lambs face with nice shallow DOF. I also like the composition and get what you were trying to do.

nice shot, i like the idea about the frame with the fence etc, shame the corner of his ear is blocked by the wood.

I think the framing of the shot is personal preference. I like it. I'd be tempted to crop some off the top but it could easily become too predictable. Besides, it gives a good idea of scale, and that tiny little, curious lamb poking it's head out..
