A Standard Portrait Lens

What it is im looking for, I dont want to go all out at the moment for a lens I barely know how to use, I want a lens which is similar to a portait lens, e.g. Sigma, Tamron..

Could anyone give me an idea where I could find one?

Why not a Nikon one? Primes are quite cheap and very sharp.

Some thing like the Nikon 50 f1.8 afs or Nikon 35 f1.8 ? You can get them at around 200ish.

A nice portrait lens available used for not so much money is Nikkor 105/2.5 AI-S.

If AF is a must, Tamron 60/2 macro is an interesting option for APS-C.

If money are not a problem the new Sigma 85/1.4 is IMHO one of the best portrait lens available.

tamron 90mm macro if you fancy doing some closer range stuff too

Samyang 85mm f/1.4 if you dont mind manual focus. Super sharp at f/1.4 and quater of the price of the sigma.
