I've got to be honest Steve, the light isn't there and these don't seem up to your usual standard. Sorry.

I agree about the light but I can see the appeal in capturing the scene as it is in the conditions that exist especially if it's a location that means a lot to the picture taker and not every picture has to be a feast of light. So having said all that I can see why you took these Steve,

No.1 and No.5 are my picks.

Had a look through the whole set on flicker. Some had more promise than these here. However they all seem to be lacking in clarity and subject plane differentiation, even those with sunshine. I would just put it down to "one of those things" and move on.
