Hi all,
I was in the Alps over the weekend, 1, because I wanted some clean air for my lungs and 2, because I knew there was still some life up there for me to photograph.
Here is a cricket of some sorts that I found, my other half loves all types of cricket but when she saw this one her jaw dropped.
It was a reasonable size and I didnt want to get bitten by it so I was very careful.
I really like the colours and textures on this one.
Your views are appreciated.

Thanks Nick, Yes that BG is complementary, its something I didnt think about.

Tis a proper Beastie, and very nicely taken, Graham...what sort of size was it?

Thanks Andy, From bum to tip of head I would say 2 inches.
