Its been 5 months since we 3 took the reins ( Chris Lindsay & Chris) and we are happy to report that after a few early hiccups that things are running smoothly.
We would like to thank all the membership for their continued support, and of course not forgetting the advertisers that help to keep the forum free for all.
We did unfortunately lose a couple of the advertisers, as they chose not to renew with us.
But thankfully we ( Well Lindsay mostly) have found a couple of replacements, and we hope that you will support them,
from their threads and or banners, and don’t forget to mention Talk Photography when contacting them.
Our current advertisers are MPB, Eversure, Trade Canvas Print, Fotovue and Limelight Talent.

A very useful site for tracking down that elusive piece of equipment that you must have.
Some of you may have noticed there is now a “buy us a coffee” link in the market place threads, and in the footer.

You will have noticed ( or maybe not) that there has been a few subtle changes, this is all moving towards our “mission statement”
from the previous thread, regarding our take over.
As we said, in case you missed it, our aim is to return talk photography to its roots, a friendly photo sharing and commenting site, sadly some of this has slipped by over the years.
Granted things have moved on, times, attitudes etc. since Marcel created Talk Photography, some 14 years ago.
However, Marcel certainly must have got the ideas and ethos correct way back then, as Talk Photography continues to grow, adding new members weekly.
Moving forward, there are a couple or so challenges / competitions planned for 2022.
Some will be new, ( a new POTY for 2022) some will be long standing, ( the 52 challenge). The idea’s for these can be found in the competitions & community challenge section.
We hope you will take a look and most importantly, take part.

Finally, we do have a facebook page, its mostly used for announcements if the forum isn't available for any reason.
