A Visit to Gloucester Quays

I love the first and the last picture!
It's difficult to take pictures on an overcast day, well done!

Thank you ... yes the sky looked promising when I left home but were hopeless when I arrived. :(

Nice work, Gramps. This is my route into town and I usually take a camera just in case something is happening around the docks. It's great at night, too. Are you local?
Thanks … I’m in Bristol, so not far away.
Yesterday was busy with a ‘workshop’ group of about 8 doing the Quays and the Cathedral and another group of 4 ‘gents’ giving it a go.
Night would be interesting but I’ve got less adventurous as I passed 70!

I live close and regularly visit Gloucester Docks. However, night shots are particularly attractive. Also, the Tall Ships festival is popular day and night.

Nice set Roger.

That church looks interesting, did you go in?

Yes I must gird my loons and make an evening visit!

I did Dale, it’s not as exciting as it should be!
I think I took a photo, I’ll look it up when I get back. I’m doing Wells atm! :)
