well, i stack together many many star trails through photoshop stacking the raw files, in the past i have done this by
Add all my 30 second stacks into seperate layers via bridge,
convert to smart layer then select the maximum option (brighest pixels from each shot)
Now i have cs6 (non extended) this option is greyed out so wondering if theres another way to do this without going through one of the jpeg stackers such as startrails.exe
