My A6000 does not normally display the number of a recorded image (aka the "file number"). I mean something like 100-01234 or just "1234": the number that is used to form the final filename.
You can see that instead the date is displayed twice.
However, I have on occasion seen it display the number correctly. I cannot now reproduce this behaviour.
If you have an A6000 please check and see what yours is doing.
