Abandoned Ferry TSS Duke of Lancaster, Llanerch-y-mor, Flintshire

If you want to get very close to the ship it's likely to be quite difficult, last time I was there it was fenced off..there's a footpath that runs closeby but as its ages since I visited I can't quite remember what sort of view you get from it these days

There is a pub and a Sunday market next to it so parking is easy. THe ship itself i believe is "land locked" now so theres no jetty as such. Then again it's alot of years since I was there. The sunday market is still going though ;)

I don't know if you can gwt ti this link, It is a Wirral comunity site with some photos of the area and history on the site:

Hells bells thats a blast from the past, used to visit there as a kid with my parents to shop on the sunday market. I suppose the building of the bypass into north Wales from the end of the M56 means you don't get to see the ship anymore unless you are actually aiming for it.

I believe you could be in for a kicking if you try and get on that. It's now owned (if you can call it that) by a group of pikies who use it to store "stuff" on board (from what I have heard).
It took a while before even some off the 28days lot managed to get aboard.
