Definitely a good choice of foreground to make it a great pic.
 
great shot, love the foreground and the sky. I wonder if a bit of photoshop to get rid of the house would improve it.
 
I agree about the house but even so 'tis a great shot, can you post a link to a large version as I feel you are doing it an injustice at this size.
 
The house is actually the 'new' pumping station so the photo so having it included shows the old & the new. I know it does look a bit distracting but it's in there for a reason. The large version can be viewed at my Flickr which should be on my the bottom of my posts.

Creative exposure and lovely composition. I think the house adds to the character of the shot (y)
