Abandoned places

Really liking both of these images.
The first has a great 'flow' of the grey from the bucket, through the fireplace, over the tray and bottle onto the chair; a masterful use of composition and leading the eye through the image.
The second has the floor being captured by the life of the ivy cascading in from the fresh exterior.
Very well seen and executed in both.
 
Great shots - wish I was brave enough to try this genre! I'd love to see your first one in B&W !
 
It would be interesting to see how these would look with perhaps more dramatic processing, I'm thinking high contrast B&W?
 
Very nicely done I like both shots.
They had all the mod consider like the hand water pump.

Thanks for the comments everyone will try some of these suggestions and see how it goes
. It's a couple of wee abandoned cottages in the North of Scotland.
