Hi
I am a newbie here. I bought a refurbed Nikon D40 with a kit lens about three months ago. I have since added the Nikon 55-200 and bought a Lowepro bag and a Camlink tripod.
I get some good shots and some poor ones, hopefully with Spring coming I'll be able to get out and get more good than bad ones.
I live in S. Wales in Rhondda Cynon Taff. I have been trying to get hold of Aberdare Camera Club as I think joining a club will help me advance. Their website is not up to date and there are no contact details. Anyone here aware of this club? and if so I'd appreciate any details you can provide
thanks
Steve

A quick Google shows >>>

A further Webpage suggests a different venue on a different day :s >>>>>

Wednesday meetings at Green Street Methodist Chapel, Aberdare, starting at 7.30 pm.

Hi Phil
thanks for the quick reply, I don't think the Monday one is on anymore as the place is next to my GP and I've never seen it even open.

I'll try and seek out the Green St one, where did you find that by the way?
thanks again
Steve

Sorry about the confusion, We meet every Monday in the St. Fagans Church Hall, Windsor Street at 7:30pm. We extend a warm welcome to all new members. Our web site is http://www.aberdarecameraclub.co.uk/ and recently we've created a facebook site although we are still developing its use. We are aware that "Aberdare online" is linking to an incorrect site and we've asked them to correct.
We look forward to meeting you shortly. Regards Huw

Apologies for the thread hijack...Huw, are your club arranging anything for the Aberdare road races?
