Abstract Waterfall

Hi all,

Any critiques on these two images (taking or processing) and which do you prefer?

No.1 for me Kane, I just prefer the subtler light. Both good though

Nothing wrong with either the taking or the processing as such but they don't really hit the brief for me, the second is a bit more successful but I feel they are not really abstract enough, apologies if that is not what you were hoping for.

Yeah, I'm not sure if 'abstract' is the word I want to be honest. The thing I was trying to say is not the 'standard' waterfall shot with the pool at the bottom in shot and often stones etc. in the foreground. Which I of course took - but these turned out more interesting to me.

I think the water looks like smoke, especially in the first one. If that's the effect you were going for I think it worked
