Yes
Was out walking today, and came across a private road, I wasn't sure if you could walk on them? It did have a cycle path sign.

Any thoughts/?

your not really supposed to, BUT you shouldn't come under to much fire if you do. be wary though, they can call the police and stuff me thinks. if you go there and start taking pics without asking then the locals will probably start to get annoyed!

should be ok though!

If it has a cycle path sign, permission is not needed to access this road,we had one near us,and they can stop you parking on the road as it is theirs

but unless there are gates that can be closed for a couple of days a year they cannot stop you accessing it...............................:rules:

Although you always get the clever ass who shouts and tries to intimidate.:shake:

acording to the law the word tresspassing does not come into effect untill you are asked to leave this was in a book i had when i worked the doors this goes for land buildings etc
but i would check with a police officer just to be safe if in doubt dont do it

As far as i am aware (ima keen urbexer) tresspass is a civil offence and not a criminal one.

If police get involved etc, they will normally just ask you to leave, this is as long as you have commited no criminal offences on the land.

The police have no powers to remove you under any trespass law, however may probably arrest you for suspected breaking and entering or something similar...just to get you off and away from the landowner. This would be a very last resort in the worst case scenarios though!

I shouldn't imagine you would encounter any problems, just apologise and act dumb if anyone confronts you :)
