hi has anyone got any ideas on my problem

I bought a vertical grip for Sony A450 (not Sony) and i have broke the sliding battery tray, it comes out of the grip andit is now disintegrated

i have contact the the suppler and they don't have any spare parts ?

Only option i can think of is buy another
unless some of you guys have and ideas
can you help
 
Is it completely goosed or could you glue it back together ?

Could possibly lok on e-bay to see if anyone is selling the tray or poss a faulty grip for parts ?

The buying a tray from elsewhere is probably not going to work. I had a opteka grip and a canon grip both BG-E5 for the 500D and the canon tray wouldnt go in the opteka grip and the opteka tray didn't fit the canon grip. Sony may be different who knows but without trying it first I wouldn't spend any money just yet.

[S1]+1[/S1] I have a third party grip for the 550d and although it looks exactly the same as the Canon original, the battery trays don't fit each other.
