I have an Acer laptop its ok and I get on with it. However, it they ... (they being Acer) have now taken over my Google homepage and it is (very technical term coming up) YUK!!

Anyone been able to get back non yucky Google?

Go to 'Internet Options' and change your homepage back to Google.

click on the "sprocket" (tools icon) , click internet options, then set your homepage :thumbs:

or variations depending on browser :shrug:
 
Google is not my homepage, this is when I open Google in a seperate tab, whenever I open it :(
 
I just sorted it, they added a themes tab, been able to change it back to non yucky :) ... it was not there the other day honest :)
 
I agree toolbars are a pain, I have somehow managed to get an ask toolbar request and everytime I click to decline it, it takes me to the ask website ahhhhhh!
 
The tool bars bit made me laugh, I had not noticed how many I had until the screen shot, started the delelte last night :D
