This is the Motor room for Acton swing bridge that crosses the river weaver, i have already posted this in the landscape section and got no responses at all, i thought this section was maybe more appropriate for the image.

Thanks Alex, i drive past this quite often and it was screaming out for me to photograph it, ill try again when the weather's a bit better.

It reminds me of home too as I grew up in Stockton Heath and went by Acton Bridge to Hartford College every day.

My nephew rows there too.
 
Glad you like it Phil, i have no idea who the rower is, he was just going past with his mate on a bike shouting instructions to him.
 
Just looks too busy to me. Too much going on to grab my attention.

The rower on his own might be better, though a bit clichéd.

It looks, from your viewpoint, that the building may be more photogenic looking at the left or right sides?
 
Hi ken, i know what you mean by busy but i quite like it, i do want to go back on a calm day and get a very similar shot without the rower and a slightly different angle.
