A friend of mine asked me today if I knew whether the prime lenses he used in the 1970s [35, 50, 200 and 300] could be adapted to any of the current [or less current] DSLR or Mirrorless cameras. He Used it on a Canon Ftb.

He is heading off on a trip soon so hopefully, the hive mind here can help me point him in the right direction. If you need more detail, please let me know.

Thanks

Canon MF lenses require an optical mount converter (not a great idea) to fit on their DSLR’s due to the dslr (all EOS bodies) having a deeper lens throat than the FD mount.

So I’d recommend finding a mount converter for mirrorless, which will also help massively with focussing
