Adaptor for Cokin H250a ND Grad Kit

I'm thinking of getting a Cokin H250a ND Grad Kit. It comes with the P Series filter holder, but no adapter.

I have lenses of 58mm, 67mm and 77mm diameter. Will I be able to buy an adapter to fit all my lenses, or will I need a separate one for each lens?

You'll need one adapter for each lens diameter you use, so three adapters in your case.

Have a look at: http://www.formatt.co.uk/stills-filters/filters/graduated-n-d/stills-filters.aspx you can get them in 85mm size to match the Cokin P size, or you can go for the larger 100mm type to match Lee type holders. Formatt also make their own holders.

If you look around you'll find a lot of discussion re. the relative merits of Cokin, Formatt/Hitech, and Lee grad filters. Resin filters, especially when stacked, tend to have a colour cast and the Cokin ones seem to be more prone to this than the other makes.

While 85mm/ P size filters are quite handy, if you're likely to use a wide lens you'd probably be best going for a 100mm holder and 100x150 grads -- obviously the non-grad filters will be 100x100.
