I've beeen using a private Flickr gallery for client proofs, but it's so tacky. I know LR3 has some great gellery features, but I've no idea how to get them onto my site. Anyone?
I use the same feature to upload preview galleries to my website.
I export from Lightroom into a local folder on my PC and then use Filezilla to send them to the site via FTP.
Lightroom names the web page "index" which is great and I just FTP the entire folder into the root directory and tell the client to go to something like this.
Internet expolorer (or whatever) then looks for the file named index in the subdirectory. Just remember to use lowercase for the foldername, with no spaces.
Now if somebody could tell me an easy way to password protect them that would be handy. As it is, I rely on only myself and the client knowing the full URL.
