I have started to do events, and was wondering how to add paypal to purchase items? There are over 200 pics from an event, and wanted to test the water so to speak. Would the best way give each photo a code and on each picture put a code for that image? Leaving the paypal button on all pages?

I am only using Iweb as am saving for a professional site to be put in place eventually, but wanted to tes the water. Any opther ideas on how to do it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

If you look on Deans camera bean bags web site (For Sale Section) you will see he has paypal buttons on his.

You need to go into your paypal account and set up the function, 1 button per item. you fill out a template then you are presented with some code which you add to your website in the spot where you want to palce the button.

If the items you are selling have the same description, same details and same price then you can use the same code but I doubt this is the case as the buyer will want individual images therefore you will need to generate new code for each individual image. That also gives you the information on which person has bought which image.

There is a tutorial in paypal that you can read for more information.

use Jalbum with chameleon skin - this is the easiest way I know of getting a paypal site up and running.

Alternatively, if you have a php/mysql enabled site, then Gallery2 will accept Paypal payments but requires more tinkering with than Jalbum.

Both are free
