Is it safe to uninstall Adobe Bridge?

I never use it but I'm unsure if any of the other Adobe packages needs it on the system for them to run. I also have two Bridge updates in the Creative Cloud window waiting to be run.
 
So what do you use to ingest images from your camera?
 
I find it useful if you want to open a photo directly in PS rather than via LR.
Its a standalone programme so you could uninstall it and if nothing works then you have your answer, you can always reinstall from Adobe CC if needed.

Yes, you can uninstall Bridge safely, nothing will happen, it's a standalone programme. I've done it my self without any problems.
