prior ro owning the samsung nx100 (which i love) i had a sony alpha and my favorite lens at the time was a tamron 55-200 (not the best lens in the world i know but i got some great keeper images out of it, and as such think fondly of it).
i have a holiday coming up which would require more distance than the two lens i have (the 20mm and the 20-50mm) and i am not able to get the new 18-200 from samsung in time, so i have been looking for the 55-200 for the nx but cant get one anywhere, and then an idea struck me.
find an old tamron 55-200 get and adapter and bang, job done. or is it? thats the issue, i have not really used the lens adapters before and i have to admit to being a bit confused by it all (hides head in shame). I have found an adapter on evilbay (see link below) and found a tamron for a Nikon and i wanted to check with some experts what functions would work. i think that the lens will perform well, butwith manual focus rather than autofocus - i think.
