In January this year a friend of mine wanted to make a website for local buisness's in the Wigan area and a forum, he pulled the plug on the idea after some messing about. Anyway there is 6 months left on his hosting and domain name.
We were talking the other day on facebook and he said I can have it for nothing but if I want to renew it in January then its down to me. So I said smashing thanks and he gave me all the control panel stuff etc. So I have a domain name and hosting but the name is not really suitable for me, but I will keep it I have been messing about for a day or 2 on it and so far I have come up with a wordpress based site.
I am looking for comments good or bad or indifferent as to how I have laid it out and the way I have done the galleries. The site is www.01942.org (now you can see why its not really suitable for a photoblogging site).
Any ideas or comments more than welcome thanks.
ps my mate said earlier on if he knew I could do that he would have asked me to do what he wanted.
