Advice on an over the shoulder carrier for umbrellas and lightstands

Hi all, well I have just been commissioned to do few pretty big shoots in Guatemala, Ethiopia and the Philippines. I will be travelling light this time, with just the camera, 2 lenses and an alien bee b800.

My question is that I used to carry around my westcott apollo 28" folding softbox, and umbrella and a lightweight lightstand. It was all wrapped in polythene and then a shoulder strap just chucked round it so that I could carry it, but they get easily damaged that way.

Does anyone know if there is a solid tubular carrycase you can get that I can fit a couple of folding softboxes and an umbrella and lighstand in?

I have looked at pool cases, exhibition stand cases, everything.. but I just cant find anything that would fit the bill.

I am just hoping that someone might have a bright spark of a suggestion here?

BTW the longest item in the case will be the westcott apollo 50" softbox ;)

I use one of these and it takes 2 light stands, background stand, reflector stand and arm and the brollies. You might get away with a shorter tripod pouch like the ones for Gitzo tripods.

Thats the kind of thing I was thinking, although its a tad expensive... I shall have a look round to see if I can find one cheaper...

You should be able to get a length inside a hockey bag.. would make it easier to carry.

@joe - just a word of advice mate, blatant (and rather unsubtle) advertising like that on your first post, might get you into trouble ;)
 
I just use the hockey bag for lighting gear, but I guess you want the hardshell for protection in hold luggage.. hockey bags are cheap as chips on the High Street, they're only £10-£15 in JB Sports etc.
 
I'll vouch for the Bazukas - take my rods over to Ireland in one with not hassles.

I se a hockey stick bag for pretty much the same set-up but of course, it's not rigid. Piping inside should work....
