Advice on capturing an image

probably because they were taken in succession as he/she moved around the subject, looks like the light was consistent for all the shots IE not lighting changes

I'd stick the camera on a tripod and ask the subject to rotate for the shots on the ball of one foot. Any minor differences can be sorted in photoshop.

I would get the subject to move rather than the camera, and to reduce the amount of error in resulting image size between each shot, I would use a tape or piece of string to position the subject the same distance from the camera for each shot.

Thanks for the replies.
The subject is actually myself. I'll give it a few go's experimenting with images taken outside as well as inside.
A concern I have is getting it as well lit as possible to enable the detail to be seen.
