Due to the poor weather i have been playing with the camera and close ups, I have really been impressed on what can be acheived.
As a result the wife has offered to buy me a lens fit for purpose, trouble is i am not sure what i should buy.

I have a budget of around £300 and it needs to be canon fit.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

regards
Steve :)

:agree: If you want to take still life shots but if its insects etc then a little longer length may be needed so as not to scare them off , I have the 100mm canon and love it, does the close still life also the insect too

Canon 100mm macro - theres on for sale on TP within budget (not mine), excellent lens with internal focusing and a good working distance. (distance from the end of the lens to subject)
