Going to a food fair today outsdie bright blue skys what lens do yyou think would be best my 18-105 , 50mm or my 70-300 ? Than you in advance

What sort of thing are you planning on taking pictures of?

I'd suggest taking them all, but if you only want to take one I'd say 50mm.

50 in your pocket and 70-300 on the camera I find a zoom is always best at these events as you can get some great candids (food and people) without too much hassle.

thanks and I am not sure but have packed every thing. On my phone now and not used to using it for this hopefully I will get a few keepers

thank you i ended up using the 50mm, and my 18-105.. will post up some shots soon.. once i have had a decent look at them..
