Hi all just got a canon 60d and ex430 flash and looking to take some photos portrait type of a youth football team I run for a presentation night show.individual and also group shots. Previously I have done outside but I thought it might be easier to get all of them to a local club room and also test my portrait skills as I am new to photography. Question is given what I have what's the best way to approach? Should I get an umbrella and stand off eBay and use the flash off camera ? I guess my question is given that I don't want to spend too much and given I have a singe flash although I do have an old sigma flash as well but I think that will only trigger if I use the on camera flash as well, how might I get the best photos I was thinking of trying to find a general room with maybe White wall..... Any ideas?
