When you use a lens with a built in AF motor, on a camera (D300) with a built in AF motor, which motor takes precedence?

I did know the answer to this, but have forgotten.....The manual seems to be of little help....Thanks.
 
:) Thanks Joe..That was my recollection, but which built in motor I assume you mean camera body?
 
If the lens has a built in motor then only this is used,The motor in body can only be used if their is a mechanical connection which is the small spindle that sticks out at the lens mount on the lens.Hope this helps and makes sense.

Yes that makes sense....I looks a bit like a flat headed screw. on a non built in motor lens?
