Hi all, just been mucking about with some of my lenses with vr/os on and off and the difference in af speed is so different, with vr/os off the speed is so much quicker, so i thought i would see if it made any difference by using inbody shake reduction(pentax gear) and i can say i did not notice any difference in af speed,
would be interested in others findings (in lens and body vr/is/os/vc/sr/sss)

Hi Scott

Just had a go with my EOS 50/100-400 and it makes no discernable difference.

No difference on my two IS lenses either!

Shouldn't make a difference I would have thought as the VR isn't active until the shutter is depressed for a little while, where AF should have completed. A lot of people have AF separate from VR anyway (AF-ON) so it shouldn't make a difference I would have thought...
