The big sheep book I'm working on has text with footnotes. I looked for a way to easily add them in Affinity but a search revealed it was only possible in V2. Luckily it is currently discounted so I bit the bullet. Then I watched a video (below) about some of the new features and found two that will be useful for me with the book, and maybe for other book/zine makers.
The first is Quick Grid to easily make grids of text or picture frames. Saves a lot of messing about drawing them out then copying and pasting trying to line them up accurately.
The second is Auto Flow Images which lets you add photos to all the grids in sequence at once - and if you've not made enough frames it automatically adds more!
